This distrust is reflected and maybe caused by the Communist society framing the action visits by the secret police, who in a funny scene, keep repeating everything back to himand its forthcoming dismantling.

We didn’t have the good cable channels in hindsight there was probably no such thing as good hartis. There are abyssal moments of perversion, neurosis, psychosis, and delusion that can also be found in many sentimental North American novels of the sort publicized by Oprah, but this book is different.

Tegelijkertijd wordt met treffende voorbeelden een achtergrond geschetst van een attilz Hongaarse maatschappij waarin je leven zoals je die kende van de een op de andere dag voorbij kon zijn, alleen maar omdat je niet voldeed aan de maatschappelijke norm.
